Students from schools and community-based organizations throughout the tri-state area develop projects exploring the intersection of sports and STEM. Projects are showcased at a 1-day science fair, where youth compete and learn about different careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
Designed to teach kids the game in a fun environment, our basketball league incorporates USA Basketball standards for age-appropriate development and game play. The league is open to 7-11 year old boys and girls and is set to tip off in January.
In partnership with Prodigy, NYC Service, and Adelphi University, our sports leadership and management program is open to youth ages 14-19 who are interested in learning about sports from a different perspective. Connections to mentors, field trips to professional offices, and hands-on projects expose youth to career paths in sports beyond playing.
Our summer academy is an affordable 6-week camp for youth ages 6-12 featuring instruction in multiple sports and incorporating STEM, literacy and leadership.
